BHMA/ANSI Specifications
We have listed ANSI cross-reference numbers throughout our catalogs and website. Because we usually make more than one grade of product, the cross-reference can be relied on for design equivalence reference only. Contact the factory if you require a certificate of conformance.
Weights
Unless otherwise noted, the weight listed in our catalog is the approximate weight for a brass, bronze, or stainless steel based item. Aluminum based items are approximately 1/3 the weight of other materials.
Barrier Free Hardware
Some variations of standard designs may be desirable in areas to enhance accessibility for persons with upper limb impairments. In such areas it is recommended that door pulls have 21/2" clearance. Most of our products can be modified to meet this suggested dimension. Please specify the product number prefixed with the letters BF; for example #BF157.
Fastening Systems
The important aspect of a fastening system is that it attaches the pull solidly to the door and does not allow "play" between the pull and the door. Rockwood's mounting systems do this; we guarantee the security of our back to back and thru bolt mounted products for the life of the door.
Custom Manufacturing

Templates
Upon request we will furnish templates for any of our standard items of manufacture. Commonly used templates are available and can be viewed by clicking on the Templates link.
Special Order Material
Special items made to your specifications are not returnable. These items are not subject to cancellation without consideration of
expense involved at the cancellation date.
Samples
Salable samples will be charged at regular prices.
Returned Goods
Return no merchandise without written permission from the factory. Authorization will insure your receiving proper credit. Errors in
shipping may occasionally occur. If this is the case immediately notify the factory, and we will gladly make the proper adjustments. If
the error is at the customer's end, a charge of 25% plus freight will be incurred for handling. Unauthorized claims for labor or charges
will not be allowed. No credit will be allowed beyond six months after invoice date.
Shortages
Claims for shortages must be made within 30 days of invoice date.
Marking Item Numbers
There will be a nominal charge per item (15 characters maximum) for marking item numbers.
Product Weight Information
Weights indicated throughout the price list are approximate for brass, bronze or stainless steel base material. Aluminum base
materials weigh approximately 1.3 the listed weights.
Engraving
Engraving may be added on many pulls. Call factory for pricing.

Order Acceptance: Orders are accepted with the understanding that they will be billed at prices in effect at time of shipment.
Prices: Prices are subject to change without notice.
Right to Decline: We reserve the right to decline the whole or part of orders in which the price or quantity of goods is not acceptable to us.

Freight Allowance: All prices are F.O.B. Rockwood, Pennsylvania. Full freight will be allowed on shipments of $1,000.00 net and over

choice. We reserve the right to designate the carrier.
