Welcome to Our New Website!
|
|
We are very excited to present the new version of the Rockwood Manufacturing website. Many people have put in many long hours to redesign the site to look more appealing and to create a site that allows for better online presentation of our products.
|
Features Overview
|
We have changed some of our standard website elements and added some features that we hope you find useful.

>Navigation
Menus: We have reorganized our menu bars.
- Products Pulldown Menu - All product links---for Product Lines and Product Reference---can now be found in the Products pulldown menu.
- My Rockwood & Sign In/Register Pulldown Menus - We have added a pulldown menu for My Rockwood which allows you to access your Rockwood account-related pages. To access My Favorites and Order Status pages, you must first sign in using the Sign In/Register pulldown menu.
- Product Search Box - We have added a product search box to the main navigation bar. You can enter a product item number or product name then click on the Product Search button.
- Company Info & Contact Us - We have moved the Company Info and Contact Us menu items to a separate menu bar located in the upper right-hand corner of the header.

>Your Rockwood Online Account
Sign In to Use My Rockwood Features:
- Current Rockwood Account Holders - If you had already established an online account with Rockwood prior to the launch of our new website, you DO NOT have to apply for a new password. You can continue to use the account number and password that you used on our old website. Please note that all of your Rockwood account information has carried over from the old website; that is, you continue to use the same account number, email address, password, etc. on the new site.
- Changes to the Sign In Process - When signing in to your Rockwood online account, we are now giving you the option to use either your account number or your email address as your Rockwood user ID. However, if you have always used your account number as your user ID, please continue to do so.
After signing in, you will see a "welcome" message in the header indicating that you are logged in. To sign out, choose Customer Sign Out from the Sign In/Register pulldown menu.

- My Favorites - We have added a My Favorites feature that allows you to save your favorite Rockwood items to a folder for future reference. After signing in, you will see an [Add to My Favorites] button on all Rockwood item pages. Simply click the button to save that item to your folder. For more information on the My Favorites button, please see the section below.
- Order Status - The Order Status feature contains the same information as the old site but now has a new look. You must be signed in to view your order status details.

>Rockwood Product Item Pages
We've Made It Easier to Find All of the Details:
- Architectural Line - When you choose to view an item from our Architectural Line, you will see a page similar to the one shown in the example image below. In this example, we have chosen to view the CenTek family of pulls. When the page first appears, there are no items selected. To view detailed information for an item, you must choose an Item # in the scrollable table/list on the right-hand side of the page. In our example, we have chosen Item # 4300 which is reflected in the tab panel (shown surrounded by red box). When you choose an Item #, all details for that item are displayed in the tab panel folders: Line Drawing, Specs, Mountings, Finishes, Application Suggestion. Click on the tabs to view the corresponding information.
Please note that when viewing Architectural Pulls, the [Add to My Favorites] button will only appear if you are signed in and you have selected an Item # in the scrollable table/list. In the example below, the [Add to My Favorites] button (shown surrounded by red box) is available because we are signed in and have selected Item # 4300.

- Full Line - When you choose to view an item from our Full Line, you will see a page similar to the one shown in the example image below. Because the Full Line items are not organized/categorized in the same manner as the Architectural Line items, the item page for the Full Line items is set up slightly differently. For the Full Line, you navigate directly to the Item #. In this example, we have chosen to view an Automatic Flush Bolt, Item # 1948. When the page appears, all details for that item are already displayed in the tab panel folders: Specs, Finishes, Template, Line Drawing, Application Suggestion. Click on the tabs to view the corresponding information.
When viewing Full Line items, the [Add to My Favorites] button will only appear if you are signed in. In the example below, the [Add to My Favorites] button (shown surrounded by red box) is available because we are signed in.
